Greg and Teresa Watson
Bio: Greg and Teresa Watson are both natives of North Carolina; Greg from Lenoir and Teresa from Hendersonville. They are both from music oriented families. Greg learned to play the guitar and Dobro. Teresa sang at an early age, but learned to play bass and guitar after she received Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She was delivered from alcoholism at the age of 22. Greg and Teresa were married in March of 1993, and decided to dedicate their lives to working for their Heavenly Father with their special music ministry. In 1994, Teresa was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, which devastated her in many ways. However, through her faith in Jesus the Great Physician she has mercifully been in remission since 2004. They have worked diligently for the Lord and have seen many souls saved through their faith in Christ and love for others. They are both extremely talented singers, musicians and songwriters, appearing in all types of venues, including churches, community centers, radio and television with their special brand of Gospel Music. They are multi-regional and international award winners and since 2007 hold the International Platinum Bluegrass/Gospel artist award. They have worked professionally and recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, and are under contract with Soul Joy Records in Hallettsville, Texas. They currently have seven CD projects for sale, and plan to release another this year, to help them finance their travels and work in the mission fields. In 2000 they went into a full-time, faith-based ministry and in 2004 started a 501c3 tax deductible ministry, GTW Ministries, Inc. They make two mission trips each year and have seen many miracles and salvations through these journeys. They have sponsored, through GTW Ministries, Inc. the " Cumberland Kids' Christmas" for the past two years; one in Jellico, Tennessee and the other in Horse Cave, Kentucky. For the past seven years they have done a lot of work with the homeless in Seaford, Delaware, and across the country. Outside of this country, they traveled to the Philippines where 3000 souls were saved in one of the largest standing-room-only concerts was held in Bagio City. While there they made an appearance on Philippine television. During their trip they found out that Greg was the first person to introduce a real Dobro guitar in the Philippines. Before then the only ones they had seen were on television and video. The purpose of their ministry is to bring as many souls as possible into God's Kingdom before Jesus returns for his children. They request your prayers and support in any way you are able to help them reach their goals.
