Kris’ new song “God’s Speed to the Wind,” which she co-wrote with Jayron Weaver -- who was runner up in the hit TV series “Nashville Star”-- was chosen from among over 100 entries by the great songwriters of the Christian Country Music world.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Inspirational and Christian Country music’s largest event and most anticipated week hosted The Inspirational Music Songwriting Contests this year. The Songwriting Contest was held during ICM Week.

The Songwriting Contest was judged by industry professionals and established songwriters. The a three-song recording of their original songs, eight hours studio time with three musicians, and a copy of the songs with soundtracks.

Kris’s songs are all expressions of her intimate communion with the Lord. At 17, she began to walk like Jesus on the road in faith. Kris Miller has made it her goal in life to serve Our Father in Heaven and put her astounding creative talent to use singing praises to Him. Her remarkable debut solo album, Alive and Well, takes her one big step closer toward reaching that goal. Its inspirational songs are a blend of everything from contemporary Christian and modern gospel to rock, blues, and progressive jazz.
