Meet DJ Kathy Hesselbjerggaard !

Hi! I’ll do my "interesting" life-story for you, as short as possible.

Music has always been a big part of my life since I was born at home with my Musical Mom and Dad.

At age 12  I started in the local Tambour Corps (Marching Guard), together with 49 other kids as a Drummer-girl, and later I became the Tambour Major (Guard-leader). We toured around in Europe: mostly Denmark, Norwegian and Germany, and got lots of wonderful Musical Friends all over.

I got my education as a Secretarian at the Government in Copenhagen, "Castle of "Christiansborg", and in 1983 I left Copenhagen and moved to the Northern part of Denmark, as we call "The top of The World". Here I got a job in the Municipal of Sindal City, as a Secretarian.

And! since January 12.1988, when Radio Sindal was "born", I have been connected to the Radiostation (www.radiosindal.info) with special information programs to the listeners for the Municipal of Sindal.

In July 1998 - at Radio Sindal/we started the morning Show "Go' Morn’ Sindal", where I do Shows together with my husband Bj-the-DJ every month - one, two or three Saturdays. The Show concerns lots of your great Music plus some news.

Since November 1999 I have been Host on my own Weekly Show "Skattekisten" /"Box of old Jewels" with Music from 30’ to 80’. The Shows are, until now, Broadcast at 24 Radio Stations all over  Denmark (and more will connect).

It’s really my great pleasure to do those Shows, with my deepest respect for the Great Old Music, and guess! I just love it.

I ’m also the Secretarian at Radio Sindal and do the Registration of the Discotheque of Sindal, and I’m also the Radiostations "Handy-man",

I’m a little proud of that Title!
