Buddy is a Gospel songwriter from VA.. He was born in Louisville, Ky.,
and moved to VA. He has sung all his life and started writing songs at 14. He
has been in 2 Gospel groups with his wife and they both enjoy singing
together. He has 27 published songs with 5 released on CD’s.
Cary Rutledge has recorded "Walk Through This World With Me"
with songs by Betty Avery and Music by Buddy Durrett.
Buddy Durrett and Dixie Vornbrock have just completed a 10 song album
"Aiming At Hearts". Cary Rutledge sings all 10 songs.

Buddy is a DJ at two gospel radio stations. Currently Buddy
has out two single releases on a compilation CD thru Ready Records of
Kissimminee Fla.. Both are getting real good airplay. Buddy is also married
and has been for thirty nine wonderful years. Buddy's wife Dorothy and he sing
and write songs. Buddy is also a cowriter with several people on CSO website.
Buddy plays the mandolin, guitar, and bass guitar as well as a little
keyboard. (just enough to play along with his songs as he composes them.
