James Wheetley Bio:
Born in 1945 in the beautiful state of Arkansas, I am a mix of Irish and Cherokee.
God has blessed me with a wonderful and close family, and good health.
If I never get any more than that, I am completely fulfilled. These Native American
flutes I play have been a part of my mother's heritage for hundreds of years.
I got my first one from the Cherokee reservation.... an old man there told me
that it could say all the words that your heart cannot find, and he was right.
Although these instruments are primitive in comparison to modern flutes, they
speak every language on earth. I don't consider myself a musician, but rather
an interpreter of emotion.
